Due to the high volume of inquiries I receive I have to charge a service fee to evaluate any piece. Most Audubon prints out there are reproductions and not worth much in dollar value, they should just be enjoyed for their beauty. If you would like to know how to educate yourself about the various editions that were produced so that you can determine what it is that you have, I can highly recommend that you buy or borrow the following book:

If you still would like for me to spend time looking into the piece(s) you have I charge a flat fee of $100 for a maximum of one hour of my time to look into it. This fee must be purchased in advance and can be done so on this page.
I do not guarantee that I can make a firm determination on your piece as it can be difficult to do over the internet when I cannot inspect it first hand. I also would encourage you to look into the book referenced above first because in most cases your piece will turn out to be a reproduction and spending $100 for me to tell you that will in many cases exceed the value of your print. My service fee is non refundable.
I also do not purchase prints from individuals so if you are hoping to have me look at it and then sell it to me it is not something I do.
There is a wealth of information out on the internet about Audubon and his work so I encourage you to spend some time to learn about his work before you spend money on assessments or try to determine a value for your piece. Many people find that learning about Audubon and his work is a very enjoyable experience.
